Even though a lot is going on with Grupo Venancia and it’s been a hard couple of weeks due to political repression and uncertainty, the women have kept going strong. Saturday 18th October
A group of us got together to paint T-shirts to express ourselves about the current situation.
In the evening, a group called Latin Jazz played and many of us wore our newly painted T-shirts….
Saturday 25th October
We celebrated a friend’s birthday at the Centro Cultural.
All in all, the women at Grupo Venancia are holding up well at a very trying time. Hats off to them and let’s keep our chins held high through this crisis.
